il Mio Capriccio
I called Raggio Cucina to see if they were open and no one answered so we thought we would hit Vittore. As we were passing Mio Cappriccio I asked my husband if he wanted to try something new and he did so we stopped there. We had a really good dinner. Started with the shrimp chimichangas with a raspberry chipotle sauce to share which was really good.
My husband had the Mama Rosa Penne and I had the Spaghetti Carbonara. Mine was really good so was my husband’s. I also had a glass of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc which was really, really good (65 pesos). Unfortunately, the owner came out front for a cigarette a couple times while we were dining. He is a really nice guy and checked on us both times but the smoke blew right in our direction and I left with a huge headache. Other than that we had a really nice evening. Sitting on the patio is awesome – I actually really like the ambiance. They have a nice patio with nice lighting even though you’re just off the main drag. And they were playing really great music all night long. We are always on the hunt for good Eggs Benedict and they have them on the menu so we will likely return to try their breakfast.
