This is a great and popular restaurant in Mazatlan, well located behind Mary’s and Rico’s across from the Inn at Mazatlan.  Gabe and his mom and all of the servers do a great job making this an excellent and popular “go to” place in the Golden Zone.

Their menu is simple but delicious.  The ambiance is great with an east coast fish shack feel decorated in blue and white.  The service is excellent.  While I have visited many times over the last two years, this year I tried a couple new things which were just as excellent as the Clam Chowder (that everyone raves about) and the Shrimp and Chips and Fish and Chips that I have previously enjoyed.  This year I tried the Mix ‘n Chips which has a selection of the shrimp, fish and adds breaded oysters.  This was delicious!  The addition of the oysters was just great.  Another new try this year was the Oyster Shooters – excellent!  And then the cannot miss (and yet I did last year) is the beer in the frosty mug – delicious!  The coldest and most delicious beer in town.  They even serve it in a litre mug.

This is a cannot miss place for your next vacation.  And they even have live music a few nights during the week.

Our first stop this trip and it was a wise choice. Fairly busy when we arrived which was a good sign. Cindy ordered the shrimp tacos and I had a medium sized bucket of clam chowder along with a burro (burrito). So much for watching my food intake on this trip. That clam chowder is really spectacular.

Just as good as always – even better. After a long and hot walk I stopped in for one (or two!) of those frosty beer mugs. Just perfect! Armando and Franco were my waiters and the service was excellent as usual. Owners Gabe and Sara are experts in the restaurant business and it really shows.

This time in addition to the beer and the clam chowder I had a battered shrimp gobernador taco. Easily the best taco I’ve ever had. Excellent!!

I made it to F.I.S.H. twice on my last trip down. While I can’t eat the chowder, I did have the fish & chips – which were excellent. Including me, there were only three customers one visit, and just me the other. Hopefully it’s just an indication of the slow summer season!

Definitely agree with your review ! Really nice place with great waiter attention, location is good, prices are reasonable.

Went there twice. Tried the oyster shooters and while they were good I wouldn’t say outstanding. Also tried the breaded oysters and they were quite good as well. I spoke to the owner and asked if the next time I was in, could I get the oysters just sauted without the breaded batter. And the answer was yes so that is what I will order next time.

My son had the clam chowder which he declared as excellent, so I had to try it. It was great and we went back a second time just for the clam chowder.

My wife just had the fish and chips which she really enjoyed. Large portions.

And, yes! the beer in frosted mugs was really cold and tasty!
